The Shade is a five piece band that competed in the NOISE 2010 final on January 9th 2011. They are an up and coming popular band that has performed many gigs throughout Tallaght and Dublin. Check out their modern take on classic rock performed at the Civic Theatre in Jan 2011.

The Plex is launching a new EP this year. The band formed by meeting at school and they’ve only just started, being together for 5 months. But they’ve already been gigging at The Button Factory, Whelans and Captain America’s.
The Frequency are a new band, that formed in 2010 over an ‘inspired conversation at a party’. They explained that ’since we formed we’ve spent over 200 euro on pizza!’ They competed in NOISE 2010.

Karma Kreek performed for NOISE Battle of the Bands 2010 at RUA RED. The band started up this year and formed from random jamming sessions in a back garden. Founding members were the lead guitarist and the bassist, followed by the drummer and lead singer. They have gigged regularly in Captain America’s Tallaght.

Laser Shots is a rock/alternative band from Tallaght that formed in February 2009. They took NOISE by storm in the 2009 Battle of the Bands by making the final at the Civic that year. This year they were back at it again and performed in STARS Youth Cafe.
