South Dublin County Youth Music Panel

The South Dublin County Youth Music Panel is a voice for music for young people in South Dublin County. The Panel is made up of a group of young people aged between 16 and 25 from the County.
The Panel’s mission statement is:
To ensure the voice and experiences of children and young people are at the heart of decisions made for the County’s music education and activities provision
Their priorities are:

Gigs for under 18s (professional playing for all ages and amateur/up-and-coming musicians under 18 having places to gig)

Music in Schools—advocate for diversifying the way it is taught and also what is taught

Promote Music activity for fun

Help build a music network for children and young people
