Do you have a great idea for a short film?  Here’s your chance to develop it and maybe even get an opportunity to shoot it!  It all starts with a good script.  This workshop will show you how to get the best out of your idea.  The workshop covers script format, developing visual scripts and writing a script that tells the story in the best way possible.  The goal is to write your very own two page script for a competition that will give you the resources to get your film made.  If you come with the idea we will give you the tools to write the script!

 

This workshop can be used to help you enter the NOISE Flicks 2011 Scriptwriting Competition. You do not need to attend this workshop to enter, but it sure can help!

 

Cecilia McAllister is an award-winning screenwriter and director who has written and directed scripts, which received Filmbase, FilmBoard and RTE funding.  Her Filmboard Short Feileacan won Best Irish Short Film at the Cork International Film Festival and showed in competition at over 30 International Film Festivals.  She has written for BBC Doctors and sold feature scripts to Danish producers Thura Films and Magnolia Films in Germany.
