‘Your subjects matter!’ is an exciting short film project to communicate the importance of choosing the right subjects in school. The film features students and parents acting out a variety of scenarios in the style of instructional short films from the 1950s. The resulting film is as comedic as it is informative.

‘Your subjects matter!’ stars real people from South Dublin County acting our various scenarios that explain the importance of making good subject choices. The film is funny, irreverent and deceptively simple. It also manages to contain the key message to parents and students - the subjects you choose today will effect your future career options. In short, ‘Your subjects matter!’

Developed by St. Bernadette’s N.S Clondalkin and St. Kevins Community College Clondalkin in conjunction with CPLN Area Partnership, NUI Maynooth and funded through the Pfizer/CPLN Area Partnership Community Fund.
