South Dublin County Council’s Arts Office is planning its Art Strategy for the County for the next 5 years.
The strategy is a document that lists the Arts Office’s plans for supporting artists, communities, adults and young people to take part in the arts. You can see the last strategy here. Also, there is another plan just about young people and the arts too!
We are inviting young people to participate in a discussion about needs and interests in specific art forms on the following days:
FILM: Thursday, July 29th 5 – 7pm at RUA RED, South Dublin Arts Centre
MUSIC: Weds, July 28th 1 – 2:30pm at RUA RED, South Dublin Arts Centre
THEATRE/DANCE/DRAMA: Weds, July 28th 3 – 4:30pm at RUA RED, South Dublin Arts Centre
You may attend all or only one if you like. If you feel that the artform or style you are interested in, is not represented here, please come along to an event anyway and tell us what you think. This your chance to tell us what we should be doing for YOU to take part in different types of art!
Please contact Tori at vdurrer@sdublincoco.ie to register your interest and more details will be sent on. You may also book directly with RUA RED by calling 01 451 5860.
SPACES ARE LIMITED, SO PLEASE BOOK EARLY TO AVOID DISAPPOINTMENT.
