Silverbird is the band formerly known as Prowler…and they say “We’re back! That’s right folks, Prowler are back on the highway to hell once again with a stronger and more solid lineup than ever. We are a hard rock quartet that formed in early 2008. Since the birth of the group we have achieved such successes as recording a demo, winning a national battle of the bands and performing at Oxegen 2009. We are recording a new demo soon that will be packed full of more new rockin tunes for your listening pleasure.” They performed in NOISE at STARS Youth Cafe on the 17th of October. Steph Palmer of Affliction Promotions said of their performance: “Powerful and unique voice from frontman Paul Morrin. Quite a different style of music. The song ”After You” is edgy. Backing vocals from Glen Maxwell and Jordan Hennessy are good connecting in with frontman Paul Morrin.”

They competed in NOISE Battle of the Bands ‘09 on Tuesday Ocotber 27th at 8pm at the Civic Theatre. Check out their performance below:
