Honey Fungus writer’s group in Lucan

Honey Fungus is a creative writing group held in Lucan Library for teens, ages 13 - 18. Facilitated by writer Niamh Bagnall, the group works together to develop their writing, get feedback and work creatively. Some of their writing can be seen on their fabulous blog.
The ethos of the group is:
Read your work in a safe, encouraging environment.
Get feedback on your writing from your peers and some adult writers.
Get inspired with regular writing exercises that are sure to get you going.
Develop your writing style and skills.
Find out what competitions are coming up that you could enter your work into.
Review some great pieces of writing by classic and modern writers, and discuss what makes them work.
