Suburban Sounds

Suburban Sounds was a Masterclass series open to young musicians (aged between 15 -18yrs) with a passion for songwriting and performance. It took place over two weeks in July and featured singing, creative-writing, song-craft and music technology workshops whilest also offering performance, studio-recording and video-making facilities.Here is an example of some of the new work created during the programme.
The participants on the programme were: Jonathan Halpin, Cathal Redmond, Neil McAllister, Ken Baker, Tiernan Jones, Stephen Rynne, Darragh McCauley, Aidan Given, Hugh O’Dwyer and Paddy Jordan.
Fiona Delaney is the Creative Director of Suburban Sounds.

Suburban Sounds series took place at RUA RED South Dublin Arts Centre, The Square, Tallaght.
The songs were recorded by Contact Mobile Recording Studio.
