South Dublin Rock School ‘08
Posted on Tuesday, January 6th, 2009
South Dublin Rock School began in 2005. Since that time professionals working in the school have been training young musicians and helping them produce their own music. In December 2008, one class came together to have a close-of-year recital and produced their own CD. Groups such as The Fireflies, Sombrero Sunset (see also NOISE Concert ‘08 in the SOUNDS section), The Caolan Behan Experience, Sided, Half Martin’s Leg, and Nutmeg of Consolation performed at Nutgrove & Loreto Community Centre. A taste of their CD is here. For more information please contact
