In 2006, The Arts Office at South Dublin County Council hosted the first annual NOISE competition for bands creating original music. The competition was geared to ages 15 to 25 and had a cash prize to support the purchase of equipment or studio time. The last three years have seen some great bands compete for consideration of their songwriting, musicianship, stage presence and overall performance.The battles continue with the 2009 competition check out the details here.
