Sombrero Sunset has been together for two years. They have been attending South Dublin Rock School, part of Alternative Entertainments. They competed in NOISE for the first time and were a big hit. Their sound and their performance is fun and lively. They’re tag line is: “Show me someone who doesnt like Sunsets and sombreros, and tell me s/he’s not depressed.” Steph Palmer of Affliction Promotions.com said of their performance on the Oct 12th in NOISE ‘08: “The theme for the band you ask? To wear sombreros of course! They started their set with a song titled ”Violent Silence.” Their second track was ”Nice Advice.” Sombreros Sunset’s advice? For the crowd to get up from their seats and rock out!!”

They will enter NOISE Battle of the Bands ‘09 on October 3rd in RUA RED, South Dublin Arts Centre, 8pm.
