Spiderbaby was formed in mid-2000 and have been going strong ever since. The songs come about by one member of the band, bringing the idea to a rehearsal and working out together how to make it as noisy as possible!

We have played the usual music haunts (Whelans, Eamon Dorans, Voodoo Lounge, etc.) and have always got a very warm reception from friends and strangers alike. We feel our music is different while being commercially viable at the same time… Spiderbaby’s favourite colour is white.
