Get your dance group on stage!
South Dublin County Council is pleased to invite submissions for a new dance festival, NOISEmoves, which will take place on 25th April 2010 at the Civic Theatre, Tallaght. This call is open to youth dance groups and young dancers/choreographers in South Dublin County wishing to showcase their work in a professional environment.
We are looking for groups with:
Original choreography
Performers/choreographers aged between 13 and 25 years

Artist Fiona Hallinan is working with three schools in Clondalkin to realise a project where students there discover their local area. Learning about Clondalkin through invited speakers such as architects, building surveyors, a local historian and librarian students from St. Kevins, Deansrath and Collinstown Park are coming together to put on an event on March 12th illustrating all that they have learned...

NOISE Flicks 2010 Film Fest Submission Deadline Announced!
NOISE Flicks is a competition open to young filmmakers (14 – 25 years), living or studying in South Dublin County, as well as groups (such as in schools, PLC, Third Level colleges or youth services) in South Dublin County. Those submitting to the festival must have at least one member of their group either living or studying in South Dublin County. Group and individual filmmakers may submit films.
We are looking for short films (2 -15 mins) of any type: drama, comedy, action, dance, documentary, or Flash animation. Films submitted must have been completed after September 2008. For more information and an application, please contact Victo...
